Q: Can I connect more than one computer to the Internet?
A: You may connect as many computers to the Internet as you have in your family. Most of our clients install a wireless router and connect computers throughout the house to the Internet through the router. We do not allow Internet sharing between homes.

Q: Is the Internet wireless within my house?
A: The wireless router will allow you to share the Internet throughout the house.

Q: How does the speed of this service compare to cable and DSL?
A: Our standard residential broadband package delivers 1Mbps download and 1Mbps upload. Standard DSL service is generally around 1.5Mbps download and 256Kbps upload. Cable service is in the 3Mbps download and 400-600Kpbs upload. The primary difference between our system and the others is that we control the number of subscribers per area so that we can maintain excellent performance.

Q: What if I need technical assistance?
A: We provide assistance 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Monday thru Friday.

Q: What is the installation like, will you drill a hole in my roof and how large is the antenna?
A: We use several different antenna configurations depending on your proximity to our tower and whether or not you can see the tower. In most cases a small flat panel antenna about 19" square will be installed on a pole on the chimney or roof. Other than installation of the antenna mount we never drill holes in the roof and always bring the cable into the residence through a side wall. The cable will generally be about the size of a phone wire.

Q: How secure is the connection?
A: Since the broadband connection is to the Internet, it is as secure as any other type of Internet connection such as DSL, Cable or even dial up. The actual broadband link between your home and our tower uses proprietary hardware and technology making it reasonably secure. The best practice is to install a firewall/router between the broadband connection and your home computers to prevent unauthorized access from the Internet.
